The ESC-tension 2 project officially concluded on 30 April 2026, having successfully achieved its expected results. During the project life-cycle, the core partners supported the dissemination of the project outcomes through six multiplier events organised in their respective local contexts.
The dissemination events attracted significant interest from a wide range of Higher Education stakeholders, including universities, service providers, Erasmus+ National Agencies, organisations involved in the development of the European Student Card Initiative, and, most importantly, students. The strong participation and engagement recorded throughout the events demonstrate that, although the project has formally concluded, the work surrounding the European Student Card and its broader ecosystem will continue beyond the project’s lifetime.
Overview of the events:
• 2025: ECCA presented the ESC-tension 2 project during the ECCA Conference in Munich;
• April 1st: Normandie University hosted its dissemination event at its campus in Caen;
• April 17th: this was followed by Erasmus Student Network (ESN), which used the Erasmus Generation Meeting to increase the visibility of the project and broaden the outreach of its results and activities, especially among students, the project’s main target group;
• April 21st: ISIC presented the ESC-tension 2 project during its Annual Event, held in Warsaw, helping disseminate the project outcomes among international stakeholders and partners;
• April 22nd: the University of Aveiro organised its dissemination event at the university campus, engaging both national and international students and presenting the project’s results and activities to a broad academic audience;
• April 24th: EDUCatt, the Italian coordinator concluded the series with a final meeting held at a university residence on the Milan campus of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, jointly organised with Fondazione EDUCatt and Associazione ACRU. The final event brought together accommodation providers, policy makers, and end users—namely students—fostering dialogue on the project’s results and their impact on the Higher Education sector.
